Welcome to the Section Admin Site

New for 2012 ... Welcome to Golf Month - evolved from PGA Free Lesson Month - to promote golf as "fun and welcoming."
PGA Free Lesson Month changed to better align with Golf 2.0 to address the perception that golf is not "welcoming," as well as to attract target groups - new and lapsed golfers, including women and families.
With complimentary instruction as its foundation, Welcome to Golf Month will highlight PGA Professionals as the experts in instruction. During the month of May, showcase how your facility can embrace golfers of all abilities and make it fun and easy to stay in the game.
Earn 4 MSR credits for hosting and providing post-event results to The PGA.
REGISTER today to receive marketing materials to help you promote this program. You are also encouraged to DOWNLOAD marketing resourses to promote your program to your customers/members.
PGA/LPGA Professionals are asked to:
Offer four hours of complimentary instruction and/or introductory programs, 10-minute free lessons, Welcome to Golf Days, Get Golf Ready clinics and more. You have the flexibility to promote what you feel is best to make golf fun and welcoming.
Keys to success:
  • Plan events in May to promote golf
  • Use social media to promote your programs
  • Send PR templates and email blasts announcing programs and dates
  • Cross-promote other instruction programs at your facility to keep golfers coming back
